Microblading/PMU Service
What is a Microblading?

Microblading is a non-invasive procedure that applies semi-permanent eyebrows to your existing brows with tattoo technique in which a small microblade made of tiny needles is used to implant semi-permanent pigment into the skin.

Microblading is typically used on the eyebrows to create, enhance, or reshape their appearance in terms of shape and color.

This small procedure helps transform your existing eyebrows and gives you the appearance that you have make up on 24/7.

How long does the Microblading last?

Results can last 8-12 months after touch-up; it varies from person to person and their skin type. If you have dry skin, microblading will love you! If you have oily skin, microblading will fade rapidly and the strokes will NOT stay intact.

Pigments will slowly fade over time according to one's metabolism, skin type, sun exposure, medication, and lifestyle.

Does Microblading hurt?

You will find the procedure almost painless and fast, all you will feel is a slight scratching on your face.

We must remember that the pain levels are manageable, to improve this we will numb the working area before the service begin. A topical ointment provides the necessary results to prepare your eyebrows for the work ahead.

What is a Powder Brows?

Powder Brows is a semi-permanent make-up procedure for eyebrow enhancement in which a digital tattoo machine is used to implant semi-permanent pigment into the top layers of the skin using the dotting technique or pixelization.

What is a Feather Brows?

Feather Brows works with the brow’s natural shape and focuses on ‘drawing on’ fine hair strokes using a digital tattoo machine to fill in gaps for a more natural and fluffy result.

What is a Hybrid / Fusion / Combo Brows?

Hybrid Brow / Fusion / Combo Brow is a combination of micropigmentation and microblading. Micropigmentation is a technique done with a digital tattoo machine which implants pigment a little deeper in the skin creating a very soft and powdery look after healing is complete.

Touch-up for Microblading or any PMU Service

After the healing period is finished, you will need a touch up. It is usually required 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure. During this time you will notice that your brows or any other PMU Service have faded, sometimes leaving some gaps. That is why, you will need another treatment in order to get the best results. Don’t think of a touch up as something optional. Think of it as a second part of the complete treatment, something obligatory. Without it, the first procedure might be a waste of money.

The first touch-up lasts shorter time than the initial procedure, because its purpose is to correct irregularities that appeared in the meantime. A touch up is a repetition of the initial procedure but only on the areas that need to be filled in. It is vital to have the first touch-up because only the combination of the procedure itself and the touch up will provide a satisfying outcome.

What is Lip Blush?

It is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure with semi-permanent results. The procedure adds pigment to your lips and not only adds color to your lips but also makes them appear fuller and larger. It can also even out asymmetry. The result is subtle—like a lip balm or stain—rather than a fully-pigmented lipstick.

What are Possible Lip Blush side effects?

Generally speaking, a lip blush is a safe procedure with minimal side effects. Some of the most common are swelling, redness, and pain in the area. In case of any possible, infection, contact a doctor if you notice excessive swelling, pus, or increasing pain in the days following the appointment.

Make sure to invest in a high-quality lip balm to use after the procedure because dryness, flaking, and peeling are common side effects that could last several days. Expect your lips to be healed after approximately five days.

Does Lip Blush hurt?

Since only the outer layer is treated, this is less painful than a traditional tattoo.

  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.

What is Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)?

It is a procedure that deploys a stippling pattern tattoo that imitates hair follicles cut close to the scalp. As a reasonably new technique, scalp micropigmentation can significantly address the cosmetic issues that arise from the hair loss conditions mentioned at the outset.

Who is candidate for SMP?

All those patients who experience hair loss, if you have thinner hair or bald patches or have a permanent scar. Scalp micropigmentation can improve these inconveniences.

This shaved style micropigmentation approach lets individuals choose where to create their hairline. This impacts the framing of your face. This technique makes thin hair look stronger and bald areas denser.

By color matching your hair follicles, the artist decreases the visibility of scars. These small “hair follicle” deposits cause the scar to blend in with the rest of your scalp.

How is SMP performed?

SMP is a semi-permanent makeup procedure for your scalp enhancement in which a tattoo machine is used to implant semi-permanent pigment into the top layers of the scalp placing microdot tattoos in the outer layer of the skin. This stippling pattern gives the effect of hair follicles. It looks like you have cut your hair close to the scalp.

Similar techniques introduce colors into scars allowing them to blend with your scalp.

The artist chooses colors that closely match your natural skin tone.

How long does SMP takes?

Depending on the extent of the micropigmentation needed, a regular session can take 4 to 5 hours. Often, individuals choose to split the session in 2 appointments.

Do SMP hurt?

Since only the outer layer is treated, this is less painful than a traditional tattoo. Each person experiences pain differently. We must remember that the pain levels are manageable, to improve this we will numb the working area before the service begin.

First treatment

The purpose of the first session is to create the foundation for your new look. A tiny needle places the color in the outer skin layer. This creates microdots of color intended to look like hair follicles.

Additional sessions

During the second and future sessions, more microdots are placed. The procedure completion time depends on when you have your desired outcome.

Aftercare instructions for SMP

After each treatment, we will give you specific aftercare instructions.

During the first 4 days after a treatment session, you should:

  • Not touch the treated area
  • Avoid showering because you don’t want the water hitting the treated area
  • Not shave the treated area for at least 10 days
  • Avoid activities that cause you to sweat a lot
  • Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools for the first 28 days after treatment.
  • Stay out of direct sunlight
  • Not go swimming because you don’t want the area soaked with water
  • Avoid hot tubs, steam rooms, and saunas because they cause you to sweat
  • You must also refrain from using moisturizers or shampoo on the treated area.
  • The overall goal is to keep it clean and dry.
  • Any sign of infection or allergic reaction, please let us know and consult a health care practitioner.
  • Any diagnosed infection, allergic reaction, or adverse reaction give us a call and report it to HHS 1.888.839.6676

Beginning of the day 5 after your session, gently wash your head with cold water and mild soap. Put a non-perfumed moisturizer on your scalp 3 times/day. This will help avoid excessive dryness and flaking.

IMPORTANT: Avoid letting your hair grow too long. This will recreate the appearance of patches and thinness. Use an electric shaver instead of a manual razor. AVOID any wet shaving with a razor blade during the first 10 days after the treatment.

SMP side effects

The most common side effects of scalp micropigmentation are redness and itching in the treated area. This usually goes away in a few days as the skin on the scalp recovers.

How long does SMP last?

Depending on your lifestyle results can last 3-7 years after touch-up; it varies from person to person and their skin type.

Pigments will slowly fade over time according to one's metabolism, skin type, sun exposure, medication, and lifestyle.

Is SMP permanent?

No, it is not. This is a Semi-Permanent Procedure. As time passes, our skin grows and sheds the outer layer. Thus, in time, the pigmented follicles will fade.

Which one to pick?

Both methods are in category of a semi- permanent makeup, however the method and tool used is different.

In Powder / Fusion Brows is used a digital tattoo machine compared with Microblading that is used a manual tool.

Powder / Fusion Brows is mean to heal as a natural daytime powdery makeup look and are meant to fade lighter over time.

Is it Painful?

Microblading is a noninvasive procedure in which a small microblade made of tiny needles is used to implant semi-permanent pigment into the skin.
